So why should you read this blog? Here’s a little bit about my background: I am transitioning my practice to focus on representing authors and other talent in negotiations and litigation, including drafting and reviewing contracts and other documents. In addition, I represent employees and employers in litigation related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, known as ERISA. I also handle other employment-related litigation, such as the prosecution and defense of claims for wrongful termination and breach of contract, and negotiate severance and compensation agreements. I also practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, including claims regarding trade secrets and other proprietary information, insurance-coverage disputes, and extra-contractual liability claims. I publish the West Virginia Business Litigation Blog, where I discuss those kind of cases, as well as other legal developments. I hope that you will read that blog, too.
